Thrift, Jr., William C.Saturday, April 01, 2006
William Clarke Thirft, Jr., 55, a lifelong resident of Dinwiddie County, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006. He was the son of the late William Clarke Thrift, Sr. and Carolyn Martin Munford. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Louise Thrift of Glen Allen; brother, Eugene C. Munford; and paternal grandmother, Annie Laurie Thrift. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 4, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery. You may be gone but not forgotten. There was not a fishing hole between Wayne Barnes and Percy Abernathy that you and I did not ride to with our bicycles and knew every secret spot.
