Walker, Maxwell L.

Maxwell L. Walker, 85, of Prince George County died March 28, 2006 in Hopewell Health Care Center. Mr. Walker was born in Hanover County, February 26, 1921 son of the late Clarence M. and Mary Ruth Walker. He was preceded in death by a wife Margaret W. Walker, a sister Mary Ellen Eanes, and a grandson Maxwell F. Walker. He was a veteran of World War II and a retired employee of Brown & Williamson. He is survived by his wife Cecile T. Walker; four children, Tunney Walker of Rawlings, Shirley Rogers of Myrtle Beach, Nila Walker of Colonial Beach, and Janice Moring of Prince George; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five brothers, Raymond H., Clarence E., James W., Garland S., and Douglas L. Walker; four sisters, Louise Perkinson, Mae Pitts, Nancy Stolins, and Brenda Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, March 31st at 11 AM at Sunset Memorial Park. The family is being served by the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service and condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
