Ferguson, Warren D.Saturday, March 25, 2006
Warren Dale Ferguson, 82, of Richmond, formerly of Petersburg died Saturday, March 25, 2006 at his home. He was born in Olathe, CO and was the son of the late Frank R. and Anna Elizabeth Locke Ferguson. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WW II and was employed as a Logistics Management Specialist with Civil Service. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Pollard Ferguson; two daughters, Mary Ferguson Blythe of Richmond; Margaret Louise McKenzie and husband, Robert P. McKenzie of Mooresville, NC; four grandchildren, Jason and Duncan Blythe of Richmond, Lisa Kendrick and husband, Tim Kendrick of Charlotte, NC and Michael McKenzie and wife, Debbie McKenzie of Kennesaw, GA; one great-grandchild, Alex Kendrick of Charlotte, NC. A private graveside service will be held in Blandford Cemetery. The family is being served by J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice – Bon Secours, American Heart Association or Alzheimer’s Research Foundation. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com Condolences
Molly, Robert, and family -- I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I remember both your mom and dad as being special people. We will keep you all in our prayers during this time. When things settle down, perhaps we could get together on one of your visits back to the area. Take good care of yourself and those you love.
