Edward Shelor Parker, 63, of Hopewell, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, in Hopewell Healthcare Center. He was the son of the late Joseph Edward and Evelyn Morris Parker. Surviving are a sister, Stacie E. Birchett and husband Brad T. Birchett of Richmond, a brother Joseph M. Parker and wife Charlotte P. Parker of Charles City, and an aunt, Lillian M. Wilson of Hopewell.
A private graveside service will be held in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens Prince George County. Memorial contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 840 West Roslyn Road, Suite E, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 or your favorite charity.
