Ivey Olivia Hogwood Grigg, 78, of Colonial Heights died Saturday, March 11, 2006. She was a native of Prince George County, born the daughter of the late Charles and Lola Hogwood. Mrs. Grigg was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and Lydia Sunday School Class as well as a member of Rebekah’s. She is survived by her husband Thomas A. Grigg; one daughter Dale Guretsky; one son Charles “Bubba” Grigg and wife Patty; seven grandchildren Hillary, Christin, and Megan Guretsky, Tobey Allen and husband, Jake, Crystal, Taylor, and Carley Grigg; one great-grandchild, Logan Allen; and a niece Lola Barrow. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, March 13th from 7 to 8:30 PM. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at the funeral home at 3 PM with interment to follow in Blandford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 620 Lafayette Ave., Colonial Heights, VA 23834, in memory of Ivey Grigg. Gail, So sorry for you and your family. Glad I got to see you both during your mom's hospital stay. You were there for your mom when she needed you and that's what counts. I know you will miss her. May God give you peace and comfort.

Tommy, Dale, and Bubba,
So sorry to learn of Ivey's passing. She was very
kind to my brother and me when we were kids and I
know you will miss her. God bless.
