Clary, Harry L.

Harry Lindbergh Clary, 76, of Hopewell died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Brunswick County, Virginia and had been a long time resident of this area. Mr. Clary was a U. S. Army veteran, having served with the 82nd Airborne Division during WWII, and was a retired foreman in Research & Development at Allied Signal Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Hudson & Edith Arlene Clary, and his wife, Phyllis Kirkland Clary. Mr. Clary is survived by a daughter, Lisa Clary Collins and her husband Berkley Collins, Jr. of Hopewell, a son, Harry L. Clary, Jr. of Prince George, one grandson, Berkley L. Collins, III and his wife Beth of Chesterfield, great grandson, Berkley L. Collins, IV and a sister, Peggy Clary Heaphy and her husband John of Annapolis, MD. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA with the Rev. Graham Patterson of Crater Community Hospice officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 840 W. Roslyn Road, Suite E, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.
