Rushmore, Betty L.

Betty Lou Rushmore, age 76 of Richmond, VA, died Thursday, February 23, 2006. Miss Rushmore was born and spent most of her life in the Petersburg area. She was a member of Monumental Baptist Church and the Kingdom Seekers Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Mamie Powell Rushmore; two sisters, Patsy R. Crump and Connie Winslow. She is survived by a sister, Anne R. Mahr of New York; two nieces and a nephew; numerous cousins; and a long term caregiver and friend, Major Julia E. Hambrick. A private graveside interment of cremains will be held at a later date on behalf of Miss Rushmore. Arrangements are being conducted by the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Petersburg where condolences may be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com.

My sincere sympathy and condolences to my mothers sister my anty Betty.I am hopping to find anyone who can help me find out more (info) about my mothers family , I know some of them when i was younger. May God bless her , for anyone who may have knew Ann L. sister of Betty , my mother Enter Into Eternal Life July 8, 2002.. My sincere sympathy and condolences to the Family of Betty. My thoughts are with you.

Had no idea that Patsy was gone also. I remember
when Connie passed. We all still lived on Kirkham
St.then. Delivered mail to the Family on Crater Rd.in later years and also Maj. Julia Hambrick in
Woodmere Apts. Will always remember you all.
