Berryman, Virginia E.Tuesday, February 14, 2006
Surry, Virginia Virginia Edwards Berryman, 86, passed away Monday, February 13, 2006 at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia. Born in Surry County she was the daughter of the late George M. Edwards and Nola Polland Edwards. Virginia was a homemaker and a devoted assistant to her husband’s carpentry business. She was a member of Moore’s Swamp Baptist Church, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Her sweet smile will be missed by all her knew her. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Milton Berryman; their son, Milton E. Berryman of Smithfield; their granddaughter, Sarah B. Parker; her brother, David S. Edwards of Surry; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by ten brothers and sisters. Graveside Services will be held at Moore’s Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Elberon, Virginia, on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ray Rowland officiating.
