Ingram, Idell A.

Idell Ameen Ingram, 90, widow of Sterling T. Ingram, died Thursday, February 9, 2006 in Riverview on the Appomattox. She was a lifelong resident of Hopewell. Her parents were the late Ahmed & Watfy Ameen. She is survived by one sister, Josephine Brashear of Laguna Niguel, CA; two brothers, Dr. Lane Ameen of New haven, CT and Dr. David A. Ameen of Hopewell; seven nephews, eleven great nephews, eight nieces and ten great nieces; a step-son, The Honorable Riley E. Ingram of Hopewell, three step-daughters, Eileen Hearne of Dallas, TX, Brenda Brockwell and Melva Armstrong of Hopewell; five step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 1:00 PM in Appomattox Cemetery, with the Rev. John Lindsay, pastor of Hopewell Presbyterian Church officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimers Association, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA, 23060. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

I received a call last night telling us of your loss. Please accept our families deepest condolences. Idell ment so much to us as we were growing up that we named our first daughter after her.
