Condolences

Monty, I fell in love with you, the very 1st time I saw you. you were 4 yrs. old. We did alot togeter, with your mom and you never were a handicap child to me, what you were to me, was one of God's children. Then you grew up to ne a very special man, in fact, you showed more pure love than most people that were not special. You touched so many lives while you were here on earth, including mine. you may not beleive this but when i felt sorry for myself i would remember how strong and giving you were, and the problems you had to oversome in your life.I'm sorry God called you home so soon but I know in my heart that you're in heaven with grandma and Jesus. I'll always miss you and someday we'll see each other again. You will be truely missed but never forgotten. I will never forget you and I'll never stop loving you. please watch over your mom, Roger Lee, your other grandma , and if you have enough time,I'd love for you to be my guardian angel too. It hurt so bad when you had to leave so suddenly but at least we know you're at peace know. Everyone knows that your mom would have given her life to save yours. But God wanted you to come home that night. We down here on earth, dont know why either but your mom was spared because HE has spmething more for her to do.

Monty was my cousins child, born in December of 1979. He had Down's Syndrome. A rough life he lived, but he never complained of his plight. He was raised by his mother and our Grandmother.

They said that he wouldn't live past the age of five. He was born with a hole in his heart and underwent surgery to correct it. Amazing to us all, he survived it and grew into a loving young man.

He graduated high school at the age of twenty-one and got a job. Boy did he beat the odds!!! He has been working for a few years now as a bagger at the local Food Lion grocery store and on Friday February 4, 2006, he went home to Heaven to be with Grandma and Poppa.

He will be missed by all who knew him, but treasured in Heaven with all who watched him grow into a beautiful angel.

We love you Monty!!

A Special Boy

His eyes were bright like stars,
His hair was smooth as silk,
His body like an athelete,
Strong and firmly built.

He wasn't like all of the others,
He was a good boy at home,
But he was a special boy
For he had Down's Syndrome.

He loved everyone he knew,
And showed it day by day
Making you feel special
Was always Monty's way.

He loved country music
And could sing along with the best,
But when it came to Reba McEntire
His heart had passed the test.

Born to fight the odds
With a hole in that great big heart,
He never gave up the fight
He was special right from the start.

He touched so many lives
With his smile and loving way
We'll miss him more than most
For he has gone to Heaven today

Dearest Tam and Roger Lee, We love you more then you will ever know. Our hearts break for what you are going through. God will be your strength as He has promised.
Monty is Home for all eternity and we who know Jesus will be with him some day when He calls us too. I'm sure Monty has the job of greeting each person as they enter heaven's gate and I can see him dancing with all his might as he Praises the Lord God Almighty.
We are just passing through this earthly land Tam...roll on the day when we hear the sound of the trump or the sweet voice of Jesus saying "Come my child..I've prepared a home for you with Me." Amen and Hallelujah...!!!! Much love and our deepest, heartfelt prayers. Your Florida Mom and Ed

Dear Tammy & Family,

My sincerest symapathy to you all. Tammy, I never really knew Monte, though he seemed like such a sweet & loving young man, whenever I saw him. I pray God will comfort you through your sorrow and the days ahead. He is there for us always & loves each and every one of His children. Dearest Monty and Rose, I cannot express to you how heartsick I am for your loss. It seems like just yesterday he was a shy 13 year old with his bright smile!! At times like these you've got to wonder about the Lord's plan for us all. You ask yourself "why?", or "what could I have done?". But the answers are not as simple or forthcoming as we'd like, and all you know for sure is that there's this huge hole in your life with no way to fill it. All I can say is that I'm here for you , and I pray for you and the hope that one day you can find some peace with this. Please let me know if there is anything I can do..........Deepest Sympathy, Rene
