Malinowski, Eloise

Mary Eloise Malinowski, widow of the late John B. Malinowski, passed away January 23, 2006. She is the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Eva Smith Martin. Surviving is a son, Roy Martin Hutto and his wife, Jenny Hutto of Raleigh, NC. Also surviving are her three brothers Joe C. Martin and his wife Verana, Ray W. Martin and his wife Joan and James H. Martin and his wife Betty and 10 nieces and nephews. Mary was born on March 6, 1920 in Claxton, Georgia. She earned her B.A. in nursing from the James Walker School of Nursing. She served in the Army Nurse Corps in Europe during World War II. After her service in the military, she became a nurse at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the American Legion Post 2, VFW Post 622 and DAV chapter 47. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday January 26, 2006 at 2:00pm in the chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home in Petersburg, VA. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Southlawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to service. Arrangements by J.T.
