Thayer, Robert A.Friday, January 20, 2006
Robert Allen Thayer, 19, of Petersburg died unexpectedly Friday January 20, 2006. He was a 2005 graduate of Petersburg High School and was looking forward to attending Virginia State University this fall. He was the son of Kathy Thayer and the late Robert Harwood Thayer, and is survived by a brother Christopher and a sister Diana Thayer of Petersburg, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends which include special friends Sherard and Tyrone Perry, Shannon Osborne and Wilton “Buster” Turner. The family will receive friends Tuesday 7:00 to 8:30 PM January 24, 2006 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel Wednesday 11:00 January 25, 2006. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com. Rob was an employee at the store for over two years and many of us have shared so many memories of him over the past few days. He was an excellent employee who deeply cared about his family and he will be truly missed. Robert was a good boy and many people loved him especially His Family. We're so sorry this had to happen but we all know what kind of person he was and where he is now.
