Graves, VirginiaFriday, January 13, 2006
Virginia B. Graves, age 94, passed on Friday, January 13, 2006 at John Randolph Hospital. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Wallace, son Charles, and loving sister Dorotha Graves. She is survived by four sons, William and wife Millie of Chester, VA, Richard and wife Mary Louise of Chapel Hill, N.C., Donald and wife Mona of Chesterfield, VA, and John and wife Jimmie Kay of Chester. Eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Ms. Graves was a retired credit supervisor for the Bank of Virginia and spent her retirement being a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Sunday, January 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will follow on Monday, January 16, at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester. Memorial Contributions may be made to Chester Baptist Church and condolences may be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com. Condolences
To reiterate what I wrote in the Times-Dispatch guest book....Virginia was a wonderful woman and was always very kind and loving to me. Nicky was truly blessed to have known his great-grandmother for the time he did. My sincerest condolences to you Don, Uncle Bill, Uncle Austin and Uncle Johnny on her passing.
