Rose ~ I can't believe you went away so quickly. Robin and I will miss you terribly. We are both in shock at the news of your passing. You were always such a joy to be around and even more of a joy to work with. You were willing to help us in the meat department anytime we needed you. I remember when we had the coffee pot outside the meat room door and you always had coffee made when we got to work. I always loved talking to you and kidding around. You helped make my job a little more tolerable and soothed my ruffled feathers when I was mad at a certain store manager. Just seeing your smiling face every morning made me smile and I thank you for that. Robin and I will miss you so much but we know you're no longer in pain and you're in a better place. I just can't believe you're gone. I'll never forget you as long as I live. God bless you and your family.

Robin Wilkins
This is from myself and my best friend, Robin Wilkins. We worked with Rose at Food Lion for a long time and loved her dearly. When I saw her death notice in the paper I was in shock, and I am still in shock. She was such a warm and loving person. When we had a coffee pot outside the meat department Rose would make the coffee and have it waiting for us when Robin and I came in to work. She is one of the people I missed the most when I left Food Lion. We just can't believe this. She was such a hardworking and giving person. She would help our department out any way she could when she had the time. I will miss her greatly and so will Robin. She is with God now and in a better place, and that should console us all. God bless Rose and her family. We love you, girl.
