Condolences

Hi, Nancy! When I was thumbing thru the newspaper, I saw your mother's name in the obituary section. Some names are easy to remember. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Do you remember me--Vicki Crank Nides Jones--from the Reimbursement Office of the DMH&MR (or whatever it may be called these days!)? I remember the great friendship we had back in "those days". I was in your wedding and you were the witness for my divorce (the Nides surname)!! What I don't remember is why we lost contact! Are you still living in the beautiful home that once belonged to your grandmother? I haven't kept in touch with the others from Reimbursement either, except an annual Christmas card from Connie Ritt. I use to get one from Carole (Leggs) too. I didn't know till after the fact that Anne Ervin passed away a number of years ago. Anne was such a thoughtful, kind woman! It also seems that both of us have lost our dear sisters at a young age. Ashley ("Poo") was killed in an auto accident, but her daughter Dena survived and is now 35 years old. Enough history, I also read that you and Sandy are blessed with three children. How wonderful! And a grandchild! I married a wonderful man from Powhatan named Paul Jones and we had one son, Justin, who is now 21. Paul had two great children from a previous marriage and we recently became grandparents to a little boy. Anyway, I really haven't forgotten you at all, and I couldn't help to write this very long note of condolences. In fact, I can't drink a glass of chocolate milk without thinking of you!! If you get a chance, I would love to hear from you(see email address). So sorry to read of your lost.
