Greenway, Donald Ray

Donald Ray “Donnie” Greenway, 52, of Dinwiddie died on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Chippenham Medical Center. He was the son of Lonie Hawk Greenway and the late Willie Pete Greenway. Donnie was a small business owner in Dinwiddie County and a former Petersburg fireman. He is survived by his wife, Diana Greenway; three sons, John Ray Greenway and his wife, Melissa, Richard Wade Greenway and his wife, Maria and James Daniel Greenway; two granddaughters, Destiny Nicole Greenway and Angelraye Cheyenne Greenway and a sister, Joyce Abernathy of McKenney. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from 7 to 8:30 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 11 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the funeral home in care of the funeral for Donald Greenway. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

just wanted to say that donnie to me was a good man fun loving person to be around and told jokes i remember that when i worked for donnie he would not call me by my name he would say joe dirt guess i remind him of that movie well donnie i no u will be rememberd as a person that would help others that needed help just want to give my love out to all the family i would work all day fro donnie and help run the restrounte at night and he was a loving caring person sorry for the lost of richared and john and his wife my it shocked me when i got the news about it my rest in peace
