Robert David Rau, Jr. age 48 of Chester, VA died Saturday, December 17, 2005. He was a native of Philadelphia, PA and is survived by his children, Shannon (age 17), Jessica (age 15), Jacob (age 14), Jennifer (age 13) and their mother, Lynne Rau. He is also survived by his mother, Irene Rau; father, Robert Rau, Sr.; sisters, Jackie Marshall and Barbara Rau. Mr. Rau was a Quality Assurance Specialist with the U.S. Government. Memorial services will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 21 at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 3050 W. Hundred Road. Interment private. Sorry to hear of you loss. Bob was a sweet and gentle soul. He always made you laugh even when he wasn't feeling his best. He always spoke highly of his children. He will truely be missed, especially his laugh and smile. Bob spirit will always be around as long as you continue to keep him in your heart and remeber the special time you all had. Be strong for God know when it is time for us to come home. You will see him again.
