Allen, Catherine W. R.

Catherine Watson Reilly Allen, 77, of Hopewell died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 in John Randolph Medical Center after a long struggle with lung disease. She was born in Brooklyn, NY. Mrs. Allen was a member of St. James Catholic Church and was a retired sales clerk for Hallmark Card Stores. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas W. Reilly, Sr. and Jane Watson Reilly, and her brother, Thomas W. Reilly, Jr. Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Allen, Sr., a son, Thomas W. Allen, Jr. and his wife Patricia, all of Hopewell, a daughter Margaret “Peggy” Hayes and her husband Peter of Surfers Paradise, Australia, a grandson, Michael P. Allen, a granddaughter, Kathleen A. Leake and her husband Deneb, a great grandson, Brody Leake, all of Hopewell, and cousins Thomas W. Reilly and his wife Fay, and Gwendolyn Reilly, all of Edinburgh, Scotland. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 18, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A memorial Mass of Christian Resurrection will be held Monday, December 19, 2005 at 10:00 AM in St. James Catholic Church with Father Frank Wiggins, priest, officiating. Interment will be in Suffolk Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk VA. at 2:00 PM.
