ISABELLE JOYNER WARNER, 92, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Waverly Healthcare Center, Waverly, VA. Born in Ivor, VA on October 28, 1913, she was a daughter of the late William Thomas Joyner, Sr. and Martha Frances Cook Joyner. She was the last surviving of eight siblings; Floyd, Thomas, William, Lilly, Martha, Estelle, and Lillian; a former member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church; and widow of the late Roy Byron Warner.

She is survived by her son, Roy W. Warner and his wife, Florence, of Hopewell; a grandson, W. B. Gardner and his wife, Perrin; a great-grandson, Bryan Gardner; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield. Interment will follow in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Zuni, Virginia. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
