Hackett, Jon A.Monday, December 12, 2005
Jon Anthony Hackett, 42 a citizen of Petersburg and longtime companion of Jim Hillier passed December 12, 2005. Jon “Tony” was preceded in death by his father John Hackett. He is survived by James Lachlan Hillier, Jr. of Petersburg and his mother, Joyce Hackett-Klein of Cartersville, GA; sister, Tammy Sheffield and nephews, John Sheffield, Dylan Sheffield of Acworth, Georgia. A Funeral Service will be Wednesday December 14, 2005 11:00 AM, in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Va. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com

Jim, I just read yesterday's Progress Index, and was so sorry to read of Tony's passing. My sympathies go out to you and his family.
