Ashton, Charlotte H.

Charlotte Holdsworth Ashton, 88, former resident of Prince George County, died, Monday, December 5, 2005 in John Randolph Nursing Home. She was born in Surry Co., Virginia and was a retired Dental Assistant with Civil Service at Ft. Lee, and a member of Martin’s Brandon Episcopal Church in Prince George County. Mrs. Ashton was preceeded in death by her parents, Henry B. and Grace Clements Holdsworth, Sr., three sisters and a nephew. Surviving are a brother, Henry B. Holdsworth, Jr. of Spring Grove, Va., four Nieces and two Nephews. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 1:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Rev. Macon Walton, Minster of Martin’s Brandon Episcopal Church officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Waverly Cemetery; Spring Grove Road, Waverly, Va. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Brandon Church Memorial Fund.
