James C. Nelder, Jr. of Chesterfield, VA, a WWII veteran, born Dec. 18, 1926, departed this life Dec. 2, 2005 at McGuire Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara L. Nelder; 2 children, James C. Nelder, III of Jasper, Al. and George A. Nelder and his wife Michelle of Chesterfield, VA., 2 grandchildren Jamie Rae Foltyn and her husband Kameran of Colonial Hts., VA, Jessie Lee Nelder of Chesterfield and 2 great grandchildren Kaleb and McKenzie Foltyn, four sisters Eileen Scheffel, Margaret Lee Davidson and husband Arthur, Shirley Ann Pfaff and husband Joseph, all of Godfrey, IL., and Billie Kay Groshan and husband Edward from Janesville, WI, 14 nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He worked at Reynolds Metal Carton Finishing for 25 years. He enjoyed racing in the 50’s and numismatics, building and flying model airplanes, antiques and traveling. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite cause. Inurnment will be at Godfrey, IL Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

I was very sad to hear of Jim's passing. He was a wonderful man, loving husband, excellent father, and just plain fun. I have such good memories of my years spent with your family. Be strong, and God bless you in your time of sorrow.
