Jones, Albert L.

Albert Lee Jones, Sr., 80, of Chester died Saturday, November 19, 2005. He was a native of Warrenton, NC born the son of the late Al and Etta P. Jones. Mr. Jones was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances M. Jones and is survived by two daughters Brenda Davis and husband Claude of Colonial Heights, Nancy Powell and husband Gordon of Chesterfield; two sons Albert “Pete” L. Jones, Jr. and wife Kathy of Colonial Heights, Christopher A. Jones and wife Tammie of Richmond; eight grandchildren; and one sister Drucie Jones Tucker of Chester. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 20th from 5 to 7 pm at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral will be held Monday at Sunset Memorial Park at 1 pm with Rev. Fred Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bensley-Bermuda Volunteer Rescue Squad, 16001 Woods End Rd., Colonial Heights, VA, 23834.
