Albert Lee Jones, Sr., 80, of Chester died Saturday, November 19, 2005. He was a native of Warrenton, NC born the son of the late Al and Etta P. Jones. Mr. Jones was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances M. Jones and is survived by two daughters Brenda Davis and husband Claude of Colonial Heights, Nancy Powell and husband Gordon of Chesterfield; two sons Albert “Pete” L. Jones, Jr. and wife Kathy of Colonial Heights, Christopher A. Jones and wife Tammie of Richmond; eight grandchildren; and one sister Drucie Jones Tucker of Chester. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 20th from 5 to 7 pm at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral will be held Monday at Sunset Memorial Park at 1 pm with Rev. Fred Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bensley-Bermuda Volunteer Rescue Squad, 16001 Woods End Rd., Colonial Heights, VA, 23834. He was always loved! I will miss him and it's nice to know him and mamaw are together again. I think of him a lot and I learned a lot from him! God Bless You Pops!

Dear Pete, I received notice of your loss this morning from Al at the CVFOA. I was sorry to learn of your Dad's passing and please know that you have lots of friends within the football association that are thinking of you and your family. Thinking of you, Bob Grubbs
