I was so sorry to hear about your mom's death. I was in Hopewell on Wednesday but did not hear about your mom until I went by my sister's house about 7:15 pm. I would have been at the service to support all of you and let your know the great memories I have of your parents and your family. I so remember being in and out of your house as a child growing up in Woodlawn. Gilbert, what great football games we had in the field beside your house and at Calvin Lucy's. Your mom and dad were always such great people to me. I can remember your mom giving us cookies out the back door of your house. I am sorry I did not know she was in John Randolph so I could have gone by to see her. I am in Hopewell and at John Randolph each Wedneday afternoon with my mom who has been there for two years and ten months. It is so sad to know the Woodlawn family is slowly leaving us. Whenever I go by your house it always reminds me of how things use to be and the fun we had growing up in Woodlawn. Please know your family will always be a part of my memories of home.
May Our Lord's hand of comfort be of each of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and those close to you! I hope you find comfort in the many happy memories and love you shared. No one could light up a room with a smile like Beebee, I'm sure. I'm sure she's smiling down on you now.
She is Gone
You can shed tears that she is gone
Or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
Or you can be full of the love that you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she is gone
Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what she would want:
smile, open your eyes,
love and go on.
My husband and I thought that Ms. Gregory was a wonderful person and she will be greatly missed. She was a long time friend of my husband's grandmother, Wilna Briggs, who lived across the street and who passed away in January of this year. Now I would like to think that these 2 best friends are together again and happy.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family and please know that we will be praying for all of you.
Sincerely, Rosy and Tommy Briggs
Gilbert, Connie, Joyce - So sorry to hear about Mrs. Gregory's passing. This surely is a life to celebrate rather than mourn. I saw it in the Richmond Newspaper online. My best to all of you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is always tough to lose one of our own, but after the wake of emotions settles, we all know that Beebee will be looking over the ones that she left behind. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends that just lost their wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, but just know that her memory will never be forgotten. Our family will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
YOU SERVED HIS PURPOSE:
A sweet child of God, you are now in His arms,
We released you to Him to keep you from harm.
You have touched our lives in so many ways,
Your love and presance have blessed us throughout all of your days.
Living out His word gave you strength and grace,
our hearts are filled with joy to know that you are with Christ and in a better place.
Your purpose was to serve and tell of His forgiveness and love,
Your life to so many was a gift and blessing from above.
Go rest high your work is through,
and we'll wait for the day to join Jesus and you.
Just as Christ you will live in my heart,
the spiritual guidance you gave me, from it I will never depart.
Continue to pray for me from above,
and always know that you were greatly loved.
Be in peace, dance and sing
for your life truely glorifed the king.
I love you Beebee.
