Condolences

Dear Family,
Lila has been a neighbor all my life. I most fondly remember her for the piano music that used to drift across the street from her open window and the home made goodies she would bring to my Dad in his latter years. I will miss her.

sincerely,

Susan Rives Stowe

Dear Frank,
I went to see your mom at the funeral home last night. She looked so peaceful. I am so sorry to know that you are experiencing this great loss. Your mom was so kind to me in ways that you will never know about. You (and your family) have my prayers and sincerest sympathy at this very difficult time. It is journey we all must make but only with God can the loss of one's mom be endured. I truly loved your mom and she was a wonderful role model for me. peace be with you.

Dear Frank,
Remember me--Nancy Meade? It's been a long time. I live in Macon, GA and get the Progress-Index via e-mail and when I saw your mother's name my heart just about skipped a beat. I loved her very much even though I'd not seen her for years and years. Obviously, there was a lot of info in the obituary, so I know a little of what's happened in your life. I am so sorry you lost her. Thank goodness she was a Christian. I was also so sorry to see you'd lost Susan. I lost my brother, David, 10 years ago.

I would love to do some catching up, but don't think that's appropriate for a death acknowledgment. Please e-mail me if you'd like to do that.

Love in Christ

Nancy

Frank, Jr. and family,
I was so sorry to read of your mother's passing. My parents, Rose and Nelson Ruffin, were long time friends of your mother and father. Susan and I knew each other as children and we worked together briefly at the Lung Association while I was in college. I saw your mother fairly recently, perhaps at my father's 90th birthday party (I will check the photos) and she looked wonderful. I know you will miss her.
