DEANNA “DEE” COURSEY RIDINGS, 65, passed away after a long illness Tuesday, November 1, 2005. She and her husband, Willey “Butch” Ridings, had resided in Wakefield for four years and were preparing to make their home in Alabama. Born in Long Beach, California she was the daughter of Claude Coursey and the late Leola Dobson Coursey.
She retired as a Manager for SBC Phone Company.

Besides her husband and father, she is survived by a son, Steven L. Ridings and wife, Lori, of Westfield, New Jersey; a daughter, Kelly Ridings of Cypress, California; and three grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Purviance Funeral Home Chapel, Wakefield, on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Steve Gupton officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Condolences may be posted at www.jtmorriss.com.
