Elsie Tomko Bresko, 96, of Prince George County, widow of Paul H. Bresko, passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 at the home of her daughter, Linda B. Griffith and husband, John, where she resided. Born in Disputanta, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Kraynak Tomko. She was a longtime member of the Bethlehem Congregational Church where she was active with the Willing Workers. Mrs. Bresko is survived by her daughters, Eleanor B. Woodlief and husband, Ray and Linda B. Griffith and husband, John all of Prince George; her brother, Victor R. Tomko of Prince George; her grandchildren, David Woodlief, Kathy Woodlief, and Pam J. Lucy and husband, Kevin; her great-granddaughter, Jenna M. Lucy; her sister-in-law, Elsie B. Rusnak; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Wednesday, November 2, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Rob Witham officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Congregational Cemetery in Prince George County. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Congregational Church, 10501 Pole Run Road, Disputanta, VA 23842.
