Our love and condolences goes out to Barbara Schmidt with the passing of her significant other and live-in partner of over 17 years - Lester. He will be truly missed, especially at all of the Schmidt family gatherings. A day never passed where he wasn't making new friends or going out of his way in helping all people. I can't even begin to describe how many times he helped our family, even if it meant picking up the grandkids from their numerous activities.

Les will be fondly remembered by Barbara's family. Pop, as he was known by her children and grandchildren, thoroughly enjoyed attending their sports activities, as well as holiday and birthday celebrations. Les was as much as kid at heart when going to Busch Gardens with the grandchildren, and getting on the roller coasters and other rides. His enthusiasm for conversing with other folks and sharing jokes will be missed. Les never knew a stranger and he was a friend to all.
