BEULA BAILEY WELLS, 85, passed away Monday, October 17, 2005 at Hopewell Health Care Center in Hopewell, Virginia. Born December 23, 1919 in Charlotte County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Leoniduis Bailey and May Tucker Bailey. She was a retired seamstress and wife of Sidney J. Wells.

Besides her husband, she leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Mildred Pride, Dorothy Harris, Joyce Woodard and her husband, Charles, Lois Kafka and her husband, Bobby, and Betty Solsbee and her husband, Butch; her sons, Roscoe Stell, Jr. and his wife, Luray, Albert Seymour, Jr. and his wife, Mary, and David Walton; her sister, Barbara Wallace; numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and special granddaughter, Sandra Peterson. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Christine Barrett.

Funeral services will be held at Purviance Funeral Home Chapel, Wakefield, VA, on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff at Hopewell Health Care Center for their loving care which made her feel more like being home.
