Cecil Luther Capps Jr., 62, of Petersburg, died at his home Saturday October 15, 2005. He was the son of the Late Cecil Luther Capps Sr. He was retired from the Hotel Industry where he was a customer service representative, a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church, member of Faith Bible Fellowship Class and a member of Celebration Choir. He is survived by his mother Sarah Jean Capps, two aunts Alpha Adams Piland & Margaret Adams of Florida, numerous cousins, god-son Joe Clements & wife Sandy, god-grandchildren Joseph Coty & Joshua Aaron Clements, close friend Maria Clements, two best friends, Bob Aldridge & Billy Wolfe, his extended church family and his pastor, Dr. Randall T. Hahn. A memorial service will be held at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service 11:00 AM Tuesday October 18, 2005, with Dr. Randall T. My sincerest sympathy to Mama Sara and family. Words cannot express how very much Cecil meant to me. He was one of my very best friends and I will sorely miss his smile and Christian fellowship.
