Mingea, Sarah Gertrude Pulley.

Sarah Gertrude Pulley Mingea, 91, of Petersburg, died Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Ettrick, VA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Sarah Wilkes Pulley and the widow of John Thomas Mingea, Sr. Sarah was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Petersburg. She is survived by her granddaughters, Jacki M. Rials and husband, Allen of Auburndale, FL, Jodie M. Taylor of Hopewell, VA and Jamie M. Glass of Colonial Heights, VA; great-grandson, John L. Thomas, Jr. of Auburndale, FL; daughter-in-law, Betty Mingea-Greco of Petersburg, VA and several cousins. A graveside service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 from 7 to 8:30 pm. Jackie, Jodie, Jamie and Betty...I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Gertie. I know ya'll will miss her. She use to talk about you girls everytime I would go visit her and Uncle John. If there is anything any of us on the Mingea side can do, please let us know. My prayers and thoughts are with each and everyone of you.

Jamie, I am sorry to hear about your grandmother. You are in our prayers, sorry but we can't make it to the viewing and funeral; but you will be in our thoughts. We love you.
