Ruth Minshew Branch, 97, died Tuesday, October 4, 2005 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Homerville, GA and had been a resident of Hopewell since 1923. Mrs. Branch was a retired operator from Tubize. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Sara Belle Griffis Minshew and her husband George H. Branch. Mrs. Branch is survived by her daughter, Louise Branch Ross of Hopewell, 6 grandchildren, Ruth Bailey and her husband Reid, James E. Ross, Jr. and his wife Rhonda, Linda Pace, Allen Ross and his wife Evelyn, Jerry Ross and his wife Sheryl, David Ross and his wife Cindy, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and a sister, Grace Caricofe of Hopewell. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 6, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
