Dyson, Barbara P.

Barbara Procise Dyson 73 of Sutherland died Tuesday, October 4, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Alice Pritchett Procise. She was a member of the High Street United Methodist Church and a past member of Dinwiddie Volunteer Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary and a retiree of Brown & Williamson after 33 years of service as an Inspector. She is survived by a husband, Albert G. “Jim” Dyson of Sutherland; son, John G. Dyson; daughter, Debbie D. Crowder; son, Dale L. Dyson; four grandchildren, Amy L. Crowder, Fallon O. Dyson, John G. Dyson, II, Kenneth S. Dyson; three great-grandchildren, Brittany Boyd, Christopher Boyd and Chelsea Boyd; sister, Jane E. Procise; brother, Jerry R. Procise and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Ocran United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harry Byrd Jones officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
