I was sorry to read of Mr Madison's death. My mother, Janet Alley passed away recently, and Larry Jr. was very helpful to her for many years. His dad, also came around and visited mother and helped her with some household chores. He was truly a good person and I am sure you will all miss him tremendously.

Although we have never met Larry, we admire his courageous fight against his illness. Additionally, we admire his family for their perserverance in joining him in his fight. May he be at peace now and be enveloped in God's arms. And may the love of God give comfort to those who loved him.

I remember Larry from our high school days at Lee-Davis. He was always willing to help others, always involved in his school, and always positive. He was also tough and competitive. It is so hard to lose someone that you love; my prayers are with his family, particularly his wife and children, and friends as they adjust to his loss, remembering always that the God who loves him more has simply called him home to soothe his hurts and let him once again laugh and run freely. You will see him again.

I am so sorry to hear about Larry. We grew up together. I lived on the farm next to his grandmohter's (the Broyles' were my grandparents). May God wrap His loving arms around your family and comfort you. I am living in North Carolina now and will not be able to make the service, but I pray for your family to find peace. Love, Pat
