Allen, Mary A

Mary A. Allen, 89, of Manteo, North Carolina, formerly of Petersburg, Virginia died Friday, September 16, 2005 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Gid B. and Nannie Bet Crawley and the widow of Aubry Allen. She is survived by her daughters, Gladys Hanhart of Hopewell and Bonnie W. Strawser of Manteo, North Carolina; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene Alston and a sister, Bernice Roberson. A funeral service will be held in the funeral chapel on Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 11 am. Burial will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
