Bynum, Evelyn I.Monday, September 12, 2005
Evelyn I. Bynum, 78, of Sussex Co., died Monday, September 12, 2005. She was born in Burnsville, NC and was the daughter of the late William Roscoe and Donna Gardner Pate. She worked for Allied Signal for 35 years and was a member of Enon Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Doyle F. Bynum; three sons, Sam Riddle of Newman, GA, Danny Riddle of Sussex Co. and Chris Bynum of Dinwiddie Co.; daughter, Nancy Harrell of Chesapeake, VA; two sisters, Thelma Ramsey of Chester and Betty Pafford of Spruce Pine, NC; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Dr. Douglas S. Echols, pastor of Enon Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30.
