Mills Daniel Boyette, 60 died Friday, August 26, 2005. He was the son of the late Walter Lemuel and Lessie Katherine Williams Boyette. Mr. Boyette was an employee of the city of Colonial Heights for over 7 years. He was an avid bowler & bowled with the men’s scratch league at the Hopewell Bowling Center for numerous years, he was a member of the civil war club at Kenny Hamilton’s Civil War & Relic Shop of Hopewell. He loved searching for civil war memorabilia and researching the history of the civil war. He is survived by his wife, Linda Boyette; daughter, Kelly A. Cromartie both of Colonial Heights; four brothers, Richard Boyette, Jake Boyette, Joe Boyette and Emmett Bryant “Bubba”; three sisters, Naomi Jenkins, Ruth Snowdy and Rachel Rollins; five daughters and eight grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, September 2, 2005 at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Windsor, VA. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 PM Thursday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
