Condolences

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Sharp. Mrs. Sharp taught me at Woodlawn back in the late 70s. To make her classroom look bright and cheery she had gotten these carpet remnants and hooked them all together to make one big carpet. She had it placed under all of the students desks. Well, I didn't feel very good. I asked her if I could go to the bathroom. She told me NO and to sit down. I did. Next thing I knew I was throwing up all over her pretty carpet! Then she sent me home. When I got back to school there was no carpet in the room. She asked me why I didn't tell her I needed to throw up. I told her that I tried but she told me to sit down.

I thought the family would enjoy a story from one of her students. My prayer for your family is that you find peace and joy in knowing that Jesus Christ is Lord.

I remember Mildred as a dedicated teacher at Woodlawn when I was a new teacher in the mid 70's and a wonderful friend through the years. I was priviledged to be in ADK with her and I always enjoyed hearing about her girls and grandchildren. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
