Jackson, Richard W.

Richard William Jackson, 68, of Chester passed away Sunday, July 24, 2005 after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Rae Katherine Derby Jackson of 45 years; his children, Robert, Dennis, Karen, Daniel and David; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by three brothers; David Seamans of Rochester, New York, Michael Seamans of Ontario, New York and Robert Jackson of Taunton, Massachusetts. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 10 am, at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia. A private interment will be held at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, Virginia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the American Cancer Society.
