Vaughan, Thelma L.

Thelma Lee Vaughan, 88, of Hopewell, died Sunday July 3, 2005 at Lucy Corr Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Fred Edward & Mamie Edwards Lee and the widow of Floyd Samuel Vaughan. She was a retired Office Manger from Second Baptist Church in Petersburg, where she was employed for 37 years. She is survived by two daughters Brenda V. Billingsley of Deland Florida & Theda V. Wells and husband Billy of Hopewell, a sister Gaynelle L Poarch of Richmond, eight Grandchildren, eleven Great Grandchildren, two Great Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces & Nephews. The family will receive friends Wed. 7:00 to 8:30 PM July 6, 2005 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service and a funeral will be held at 11:00 AM July 7 2005, in Second Baptist Church in Petersburg with the Rev. Joseph T. Lewis officiating.
