Condolences

To the family of John. My sympathy to you on the passing of a truly wonderful guy. To those of us who counted ourselves amongst his teammates and friends from the Gibbons years, he will live on in our hearts. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

John was a source of friendship for many of us at Nationwide. His smile and fun loving spirit filled events and training sessions that could easily have been, well, less than entertaining. He was a great agent and one I went to when questions arose about our always complex business. I will remain in prayer for his entire family and those with whom he was close.

Bubba and I were classmates of Johnny's (and his sister Jennie)at Gibbons High School. I played basketball with Jennie and Bubba played with Johnny. The Stech family was so involved in all aspects of the school. Johnny will be remembered with fondness. To his sons that we have not met---we never think of our own parents as being cool--but I assure you--Johnny was very popular and so liked by everyone and VERY cool!! To the entire Stech family--we offer our deepest sympathy at so sudden a loss. You will be in our prayers.

With much love,

Just wanted to express my sincere sympathy and condolences to the entire Stech family in your loss of John. My memory of him in high school was that he was a kind person with never a harsh word about anyone and he treated people well. He was certainly someone to look up to. He will surely be missed by the underclassmen of Gibbons High School and the former cheerleaders of that time.
My prayers go out to his family.

John Sr, Jason and Scott please accept our condolences on the passing of your son and father. He was a close friend and our insurance agent for the last 15 years. John was a great fisherman and i had the great pleasure to accompany him on many tuna fishing trips, never come home empty was John"s motto. One of John's favorite challenges was to see how many times he could make it thru Oregon Inlet when no one else would try.In John's mind it was never too rough to go fishing. We will surely miss him and he always was a top notch insurance agent for us. Our prayers are with you, John and your family

It is with great sadness that I have read of the passing of John.
I remember watching him as a basketball player and I remember the respect that I had for him as my coach-particularly in my senior year. Those were great years and I will remember him fondly.
I have always enjoyed running into him occasionally and talking over those days.

My condolences to his family and friends.

Please accept my condolences. John and I worked together many, many years ago when he first started in the insurance business. I was working part time for Mr. Geisz while going to college.

Jack and I saw him recently with his son at Shoney's having lunch and enjoyed a nice visit. I have many fond memories working together and running into one another frequently at school functions when his children were at Rural Point Elementary.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Please accept my condolences for the passing of John.
I hadn't seen him in years, but kept up with him in the insurance business.
He will be missed, and he will always be remembered by his fellow Gibbonites.
He was looked up to by the underclassmen, and I know he was looked up to by his sons.
Our prayers are with you Johnny, and with your family.
