Elizabeth Gerlach Thompson, 58 of Petersburg, died June 29, 2005. She is the daughter of Leiper Rennie Gerlach and the late Eugene Andrew Gerlach. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter Lisa Duthie and husband Gary; two granddaughters, Jessica and Jamie Duthie; step grandson, Travis Duthie all of Washington State. Graveside services are to be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, July 5, 2005 in Blandford Cemetery. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Wesy Chappell, 1117 Fort Hayes Dr., Petersburg, VA 23805. My prayers are with you and your family. I am a classmate from PHS class of 65. My your memories of Betsy live in your heart as ours of her do.

Mrs. Gerlach, I was so sorry to hear of BETSY's death. I remember the great times we had growing up together and the many sleepovers we had at your house. Betsy was such a fun and gracious friend. I know she will be greatly missed. PLease pass my condolences on to her daughter and family.
