Johnson, Gerry L.

Gerry L. Johnson, 48, of Chester, died on Friday, June 24, 2005. He was the son of Rachel Rediker Johnson and the late Albert C. Johnson, Jr. He is survived by four sisters, Marie and Paula Johnson, Elizabeth Jackson, all of Chester and Christine Brosius of Bellows Falls, Vt., a niece, Katherine Denise Brosius and a nephew, Steven Daniel Brosius, both of Chester. He was medically retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation after 18 years of service. He was a loving son, wonderful brother, generous uncle and a loyal friend. He enjoyed bowling, painting and photography. The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at the funeral home.
