Burt, Estelle M.

Estelle Morris Burt, 77, of Chester, Virginia, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at John Randolph Medical Center .She was born in Hopewell, Virginia. Mrs. Burt was a retired real estate agent with Tri-City Realty, a member of First Baptist Church and in 1969 was selected as Beta Sigma Phi “Girl of the Year.” She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Grace Bowers Morris. Survivors include her husband, Thomas B. Burt, one son, T. Harrison Burt and wife, Jennifer, two daughters Carolyn G. Burt and Suzanne B. Kersey and husband, Carl, all of Chester, her grandchildren Alex Burt, Tyler Burt, Jesse Burt, Suzette Kersey, Whitney Kersey, and one sister Ellen G. Morris of Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, with The Rev. Dr. John Carpenter. Pastor, officiating.
