Woodward, Grace G.

Grace Gertrude Woodward, 76, of Chester, widow of Benjamin F. Woodward, Jr., passed away Sunday, June 12, 2005. Born in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Malcolm and Alice Morris Ford. Mrs. Woodward was preceded in death by a son, Robert Carlton King. She is survived by her children, Brenda Lee Hardison and husband, Gary of Chesapeake, VA, Julian Malcolm King and wife, Gwendolyn, of Chester, and Carolyn Cole of Bristol, TN; grandchildren, John Ashley King, John Michael King, Leah Marie Spradlin and husband, Robert, Stephen King, Garrett Hardison, and Timothy Hardison; two great-grandchildren, Destiny and Alexis King; her sisters, Alice Lee Owen and Ethel E. Lyons of Richmond; her brother, James R. Ford and wife, Cindy, of Mathews County, VA. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday, June 15, at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment service will follow in the air conditioned mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
