Lester Ellsworth “Buddy” Blanton, 90 of Petersburg died Wednesday, June 8, 2005. He was the son of the late William E. Blanton, Sr. & Willie Mae Storey Blanton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He is survived by his niece, Sandra Britt; sister-in-law, Norma Blanton; nephew, William E. Blanton, III and several other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday, June 11, 2005. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com. Condolences
