Condolences

Dear Eve,I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother and am delighted to see she that she is survived by your father,Lester. I lost Grandaddy Elmer 3 years ago. My boys, Ben and Alex are 10 and 6 now. Ben was recently selected to DUKE U. list of prominent students in the Southeast. Both are quite the golfers and football players. Daddy and Mama are doing ok. If there has been a day in the last ten years that my heart hasnt cried out for you,I dont remember it.At least I did get to know what love was. I told Felina not too long ago that I would give anything to take my boys to you so that you could see them. What I didnt tell her is that I wanted to take my heart so that you could see it,too.

So sorry to read this! Really loved this lady! The last time I was by to see her and Mr. Lester, she was asleep.

To Mr. Lester, Eve, Newell, and family--my heartfelt sympathy. You were lucky to keep her so long. I know that her soul is with our Lord. She was truly a beautiful soul.
