Dear Family of Annie Ruth:
Though it has been years since I saw Annie Ruth, I was saddened to read on the Progress online edition that she has passed away. Our acquaintance goes back to when she lived in East Petersburg and attended Rives School in Prince George County. My late-husband, Allen, grew up in her community, and we all attended school together. When I read the first line of the obituary, I was reminded of something. We heard, probably in the late '50s or early '60s, that Annie Ruth had accepted Christ as her Saviour. We had become Christians also and were so happy for her. Knowing she was saved must help you bear the separation from her easier. I pray that God will bless you all with His comfort and good memories of your loved one. As I write this, I can almost hear her laughter! :o) She was such a cheerful person and communicated it to others.

Sincerely and prayerfully,
Joyce (Basl) Wright
