Nicholson, Janet W.

Janet Ward Nicholson, 55, of Chesterfield County, passed away Friday, June 3, 2005 at her residence. Born in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Sampson Ward. She is survived by her husband, Nick Nicholson; daughters, Ann Walke and boyfriend, Dennis Faulk of Matoaca, Tricia Brown and husband, Willie Brown, Jr. of Dinwiddie, and Holly Nicholson of West Palm Beach, FL.; grandchildren, Abagail Cook, Willie Brown, III, Taylor Edwards, Victoria Edwards, and Makayla Kovalaske; sisters, Peggy Cantor of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mary Swindle of Chesterfield; brother, James Ward of Myrtle Beach, SC; adopted sister, Marilynn Robertson of Ford; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, June 5 at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, P.
