It doesn't seem like it has been five months since Aunt Lillians passing, but I can tell you one thing a day does not go by that I don't think of her. I miss knowing she was there.. ~ Sue Davis
To Lillians's Family- When I was a little girl my family moved from Charlottesville to Alexandria. In the early years we all went home to visit quite often. We always stayed with Daddy's brother Warren and his wife Lillian. They always made us feel so welcome. Lillian would come home from work and be so happy to see us. You would never know she was tired from working all day. We had so much fun at their house. My best memory of Lillian is how much she liked to hear and tell jokes. We would all laugh until we were doubled over. We all loved her and we share your loss.
Our prayers are with Lillian and her family. She was a wonderful person. WE will deeply miss her.
Rest in Peace...

Jimmy, Dorothy, Steve and Family,
Please know that my thoughts
and prayers are with you all
and I send my deepest sympathy.
I cannot express how much
I miss Lillian.
I regret not being able to
see her more often,
but she was always in my
heart and on my mind. Her
laughter was contagious. It
was impossible not to laugh
along with her. I have fond
memories, I remember as a child
going to visit my Aunt and
Uncle (Lillian and Warren)and
how excited I would get. Now
they are together again. That
is a comforting thought...
Until we meet again,
Sue Davis
Dear Dorothy, James, and Warren,
I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Lillian's passing. My mother often tells me what a wonderful sister Lillian has been to her through the years. May God comfort each of you with the knowledge that she is safe and pain-free now and forever.
Love,

Ginger and I were very sad to hear of Lillian's passing. We very much enjoyed meeting and getting to know her here in North Garden on the occasions when she came to visit her sister Ethel, who lived with us before she moved to Roanoke.
Our thoughts go especially to Doris and her family, and to Darlene and her family, since we know them (along with Ethel and Rachel) better than the other family members. However, we are thankful for Lillian's life and will hold all of you in our prayers.
Ginger is traveling today in Texas, and I'm babysitting Julian (grandson) so I probably won't be able to attend the service at Riverview, to my regret.
